Most people are always looking for easy to maintain no fuss, no mess type house plants. There is no such thing. Fake plants are an option but they also require attention. Cleaning to remove dust, debris and old dust still a chore.
The types of common houseplants fall under 4 categories.
Foliage house plants: there are many varieties and they must permanently under ideal conditions within life. This would be at home or in an office environment. Foliage plants are grown and used primarily for their green foliage color or look. And like people will be a few of these plants begin to lose their valuable apperance once they reach a certain age.
